Passage v2.5.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 13331493. It is estimated to take place 6 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd passage
git pull
git checkout v2.5.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 2.5.0
passage version

# Should be commit 407973d95fcdd1a4257d6c015f11d6305c3f14a6
passage version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.passage/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.5.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/passage $HOME/.passage/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.5.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 2.5.0
$HOME/.passage/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.5.0/bin/passage version
