ZetaChain v25.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 6812000. It is estimated to take place 1 week from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd zetachain
git pull
git checkout v25.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 25.0.0
zetacored version

# Should be commit 4a04d96a283d1b7dd64b8c2899dba09263da0264
zetacored version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v25/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/zetacored $HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v25/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 25.0.0
$HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v25/bin/zetacored version
