Quasar v2.0.1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 7480400. It is estimated to take place 4 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd quasar
git pull
git checkout v2.0.1
make install

Check Version

# should be 1.0.8-cl-skn
quasard version

# Should be commit d772be373ecc899e879943f65925dfa8ea1cf326
quasard version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.quasarnode/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/quasard $HOME/.quasarnode/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 1.0.8-cl-skn
$HOME/.quasarnode/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2/bin/quasard version
