Haqq v1.9.6 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 22859000. It is estimated to take place 18 hours from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd haqq
git pull
git checkout v1.9.6
make install

Check Version

# should be 1.9.6
haqqd version

# Should be commit 9c8401da06e2514e16f75fcd8177698dea04b5c7
haqqd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.haqqd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.9.6/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/haqqd $HOME/.haqqd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.9.6/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 1.9.6
$HOME/.haqqd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.9.6/bin/haqqd version
