Shido v3.3.1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 28000000. It is estimated to take place 1 day from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd shido
git pull
git checkout v3.3.1
make install

Check Version

# should be 3.3.1
shidod version

# Should be commit c4f715eb55912c8f2599fd56f49a96499535267a
shidod version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.shidod/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3.3.1/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/shidod $HOME/.shidod/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3.3.1/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 3.3.1
$HOME/.shidod/cosmovisor/upgrades/v3.3.1/bin/shidod version
