Omniflix v6.1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 21488000. It is estimated to take place 2 days from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd omniflix
git pull
git checkout v6.1
make install

Check Version

# should be v6.1
omniflixhubd version

# Should be commit v6.1
omniflixhubd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.1/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/omniflixhubd $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.1/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v6.1
$HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.1/bin/omniflixhubd version
