Prop 10: Increase total active validators from 64 to 75

Smart Stake, as a proud validator & contributor to the OmniFlix Network, intends to express our gratitude to all fellow validators who've been running nodes and supporting the network for over a year.

Throughout the year, OmniFlix has attracted interest and contributions from teams running validators but not all of us were a part of the genesis validator set. Expanding the active validator set offers more opportunities for everyone contributing to the OmniFlix Hub and increases network decentralization.

Initially, the validator set comprised 64 active validators. The network was bootstrapped by issuing 10 FLIX to validators at genesis. Validators joining after the mainnet launched in Feb 2022, received fewer FLIX, which restricted their entry into the active set.

With this proposal, the ask is to increase the active set, bring on-board further validators and contributors and increase decentralization of voting power

Voting Options:

• Vote YES on the proposal if you are in favor of increasing the active set from 64 validators to 75 validators
• Vote NO on the proposal if you are NOT in favor of increasing the active set from 64 validators to 75 validators
• Vote ABSTAIN on the proposal if you intend to refrain from participating in the proposal
• Vote NO WITH VETO if you see this as a harmful proposal to the future of the network
