Prop 349: Accept Solana Metis USDC Assets as Gas Fee Denoms

Summary

Currently, users on the Nolus mainnet can pay gas fees using NLS or USDC (Noble, via Osmosis). This proposal extends alternative gas-fee support to the five assets carried by the newly deployed Solana Metis USDC protocol: USDC, SOL, CB_BTC, WETH, and HYPE.

Reasoning

Each accepted denom's minimum gas price is set so that paying fees in that asset costs the same real (USD-equivalent) amount per unit of gas as the existing USDC (Noble) rate established on the network - itself already priced well above the equivalent NLS-denominated minimum gas price, consistent with the network's existing policy of favoring NLS for fee payment while still keeping alternative-denom fees affordable in absolute terms.

Outcome

By voting "YES", you support extending the gas fee structure to accept USDC, SOL, CB_BTC, WETH, and HYPE (all bridged via the Solana Metis USDC protocol) as alternative gas payment denoms, routed to that protocol's own Profit contract, consistent with how every other protocol's alternative denoms are handled.
