Prop 21: v4.3 Software Upgrade

Babylon version v4.3 incorporates important security fixes.

Due to the sensitivity of the fixes, the upgrade binaries will become available 30 minutes before the upgrade. More details on the fixes will be shared after both the Mainnet and the Testnet have been upgraded.

To ensure a smooth upgrade, we kindly request the following actions from you:

During the governance proposal (until Tuesday 5 May 12:30PM UTC):

• If you are a CometBFT Validator, vote YES for the governance proposal (ref).

Prior to the upgrade height (until Tuesday 5 May 1:30PM UTC):

• Prepare the upgrade binary by following the instructions documented here.

When the upgrade height is reached (at Tuesday 5 May 1:30PM UTC):

• Perform the steps documented here to upgrade your node
• Verify that the upgrade was successful
  • If you are a CometBFT Validator, ensure your node is signing new blocks.
  • If you are not a CometBFT Validator, verify that your node is syncing the latest blocks.
