Prop 12: Community Pool Allocation for Post-Rebranding Ecosystem Execution

1. Overview

This proposal seeks governance approval for the allocation of 8,000,000 FCT from the Community Pool to support validator participation, ecosystem expansion following the Baseline rebranding, and increased network engagement.

The Baseline rebranding served to realign the network’s market positioning and overall ecosystem direction.

Following approval of the rebranding, the network now requires coordinated execution across key areas necessary to support the transition of the ecosystem under the Baseline identity.

This proposal positions the allocation as an execution mechanism to support post-rebranding actions across validator participation, product engagement, community onboarding, exchange collaboration, and strategic partnerships.

The allocation remains fully within the currently disclosed circulating supply range and does not require any modification to the published supply metrics.

2. Allocation Scope

To translate the growth direction established through the rebranding into expanded participation and ecosystem activity, the allocation will be deployed across the following core execution areas:

  • Validator Participation and Performance-Based Security Incentives: Reinforcing network security and stability through performance-based validator incentives.
  • Product Engagement and Reward Programs: Incentivizing active usage of ecosystem products and services.
  • Community Onboarding and On-chain Incentives: Facilitating new user acquisition and ecosystem entry.
  • Exchange Collaboration and Ecosystem Marketing: Strengthening market presence and liquidity through exchange collaboration and ecosystem marketing initiatives.

Execution Principles

  • Validator Selection: Allocations will be administered through an application and evaluation process, considering factors such as node stability, governance participation, and operational contribution.
  • Strategic Focus: Marketing-related initiatives are designed to expand network participation and support broader ecosystem adoption rather than promotional activity alone.
  • Structured Deployment: Resources will be deployed progressively, aligned with operational milestones and ecosystem priorities to ensure responsible capital management.

3. Purpose & Expected Impact

This allocation is intended to:

  • Expand the network’s participation base
  • Facilitate ecosystem entry and usage
  • Strengthen the network’s market presence
  • Reinforce the connection between post-rebranding strategic direction and execution

Collectively, these outcomes are expected to support continued participation growth and ecosystem expansion.
