Prop 75: Delist MilkyWay from VIP

1. TL;DR

MilkyWay was whitelisted in VIP at Initia mainnet launch as a genesis rollup.

MilkyWay has since announced it is sunsetting and permanently shutting down due to market conditions. To maintain fairness across the VIP program and avoid allocating rewards to an inactive rollup, this proposal removes MilkyWay from VIP until further notice.

2. Background

VIP is intended to incentivize active rollups and their ecosystems. When a rollup is no longer operating, continuing VIP allocation:

• creates unfairness versus active rollups,

• can lead to unclaimed or misdirected incentives,

• reduces the integrity of the program.

3. Proposal Details

Remove MilkyWay from the VIP allowlist.

1. Feb 20 — Forum proposal posted

2. Feb 20 — On-chain vote begins

3. Feb 21 — On-chain vote ends (proposal executed if passed)

5. Governance Votes

• YES — You support removing MilkyWay from the VIP program.

• NO — You do not support removing MilkyWay from the VIP program.

• NO WITH VETO — You believe this proposal is harmful, spam, or violates governance principles.

• ABSTAIN — You choose not to vote for or against, but wish your vote to count toward quorum.
