Prop 110: [Proposal] Adding XPLA Liquidity Provider

Proposer: DELIGHT LABS

1. Background & Proposal Purpose

  • This proposal aims to introduce a professional liquidity provider to major global exchanges to ensure the market health of XPLA and advance its trading environment.
  • Ecosystem Consensus & Strategic Alignment: Prior to this submission, extensive consultations were held with key ecosystem partners. The consensus reached was clear and urgent: the current liquidity depth is critically insufficient to meet the compliance standards of major global exchanges.
  • Key Discussion Points: Stakeholders agreed that the absence of professional liquidity provision is not merely a trading inconvenience but a systemic risk that could lead to asset deprioritization or even delisting.
  • Governance Mandate: Given the time-sensitive nature of market conditions, we are advancing this agenda through the formal governance process to seek broader community ratification, rather than delaying for an extended preliminary debate.
  • Role of DELIGHT LABS: As a proxy for the ecosystem's collective interest, DELIGHT LABS acts as the designated facilitator to execute this ecosystem mandate. We are stepping forward to bridge the gap between the ecosystem's strategic needs and the required professional infrastructure, ensuring that this collective imperative is carried out efficiently.
  • Necessity: Major exchanges consider active liquidity provision a mandatory requirement for maintaining a healthy market. This is a fundamental infrastructure requirement for the stability and expansion of the XPLA ecosystem.
  • Operational Method: Instead of in-house operation, DELIGHT LABS will delegate operations to a proven professional liquidity provider to ensure systematic and transparent management.

2. Funding Request & Distribution Plan

  • Total Requested Amount: 5,000,000 XPLA
  • Budget Basis: Integrated budget for Liquidity Inventory and Technical Service Fee on global CEXs (Contract Period: 1 Year)
  • Account Address: xpla1zvvxyhqush4lmm0khvcdktv4ufhq0eag9dje42
  • Distribution Schedule: Lump-sum payment

3. Operational Details & Exit Strategy

This budget is managed as an integrated operational budget, not a simple sunk cost.

  • Budget Composition:
  • Liquidity Inventory: Operational assets lent to the order book to support smooth trading (Subject to Return).
  • Technical Service Fee: Actual costs for 24/7 monitoring and system utilization over the 1-year term (Equivalent to approx. $35,500 in XPLA; Non-recoverable Cost).
  • Note: DELIGHT LABS does not take any brokerage fees or margins from this proposal and acts solely as an intermediary to secure ecosystem stability.
  • Exit Strategy: Upon the expiration of the 1-year contract period, the remaining Liquidity Inventory (excluding the Technical Service Fee) will be fully returned to the Community Pool. However, the value of the returned assets (XPLA and pair assets) may vary depending on market conditions.

4. Risk Disclaimer

  • Platform Risk: These funds are operated on third-party platforms (Major Global CEXs). The Proposer (DELIGHT LABS) and partners are not liable for asset losses caused by force majeure events, such as exchange security issues, bankruptcy, or suspension of deposits/withdrawals.
  • Market Volatility: This proposal is for technical infrastructure support to improve trading accessibility and does not guarantee artificial price increases.
  • Cost Recognition: Please note that a portion of the budget is used as a technical service fee for professional system operation and is non-recoverable.

5. Conclusion

Through this proposal, we aim to meet global liquidity standards to prevent potential delisting risks and secure global accessibility. DELIGHT LABS commits to stewarding this initiative transparently, ensuring that the community's resources are deployed effectively to contribute to the substantial growth of the XPLA ecosystem.
