Prop 21: Shido Network V2 – Tera Mainnet Upgrade

This official proposal seeks approval to upgrade the Shido Network mainnet through the implementation of the V2 Tera Upgrade. This upgrade introduces significant enhancements and optimizations to Shido’s core infrastructure, substantially improving network performance, throughput, and security. Upon approval, users and developers will benefit from a more efficient and reliable network experience when interacting with and building on the Shido Network blockchain.As part of this initiative, the Shido Core Foundation and Shido Network DevOps proposes measures to strengthen liquidity around the native token. To support expanded market reach and long-term growth, a calculated 25% increase in the non-circulating Shido supply is proposed. This adjustment is essential to enable the Shido Core Foundation to execute the 2026 token roadmap, which includes new decentralized exchange (DEX) listings, increased liquidity on the Shido DEX, additional centralized exchange listings, and deeper engagement with venture capital partners.It is important to note that this adjustment affects only non-circulating supply and is implemented as part of the V2 Tera Upgrade. The allocation will be verifiable on-chain within the Shido supply account and has been carefully structured to ensure a responsible, measured approach. This design supports Shido’s ability to achieve critical strategic objectives aimed at expanding the reach and market capitalization of the native Shido token.If this proposal is approved, the Shido Network blockchain will halt at a designated block height and resume operations using the upgraded Shido Network application binary.Additional technical details regarding this release are available in the official Shido GitHub repository.Disclosure: This proposal has been submitted by the Shido Core Foundation.
