Objectives

Akash's growth objectives focus on strengthening its market position, driving platform adoption, enhancing community engagement, and increasing awareness of the AKT token. Each initiative aligns with these goals to solidify Akash as the leading decentralized cloud computing solution.

  1. Drive Lead Generation, Conversion, and Active Users: Implement targeted strategies to generate high-quality leads and convert them into active renters.
  2. Promote Projects Built on Akash: Increase awareness of ecosystem projects through PR, partnerships, and targeted marketing.

Proposal Validation

Over the last four months, Overclock Labs has validated its growth strategy by investing $750,000 USD to onboard new resources, partners, and kick off the outlined initiatives. These Growth/Marketing resources have been integrated directly into the Overclock core team on a daily basis across the key focus areas. As such, The Overclock Labs' Core Team has thoroughly vetted the resources, platforms, and programs outlined in this proposal, which we are now submitting for community review as we continue to build on these efforts.

Growth Marketing Initiatives

These initiatives will build on the success of current efforts while also deploying new strategies and tactics.

  1. Digital Advertising: increase awareness and drive new users. Akash will deploy targeted digital campaigns that reach the right audiences. By leveraging omnichannel marketing across Google, Twitter, LinkedIn, Twitch, and Programmatic channels.
  2. Video Content: promote Akash, better explain the marketplace, and improve user experience.
  3. Website Update: Front-end website for Akash to better highlight the platform, modernize the brand, and showcase ecosystem projects using expanded resources. These efforts will supplement the foundational work from HoomanHQ by adding content, structure, and design efforts. The redesigned site will better showcase Akash's core differentiator as the premier decentralized GPU compute marketplace for AI. Content and layout will be structured to directly address AI developers, startups, and enterprise customers. The website will be tightly integrated with marketing automation and sales workflows to enable robust attribution and performance tracking across all user journeys.
  4. Brand & Messaging Update: Top-tier branding agency to update the Akash brand and messaging to better convey the project, platform, and ecosystem. This project will include:
    • Visual Identity Upgrade: Updates to Akash's visual design language, led by a top-tier agency (Cinco), will ensure brand consistency across all user touchpoints, including web, video, events, and community content.
    • Messaging Architecture: New brand positioning and messaging frameworks will be developed to articulate Akash's value to diverse audiences, including AI builders, infrastructure providers, and enterprise users.
    • Content and Media Expansion: A set of high-quality videos across brand, products, explainers, tutorials, and thought leadership content to enhance comprehension and increase engagement across channels.
    • Creative Implementations: The updated creative direction will unify Akash's presence across paid media, websites, earned media, and live events, helping the project maintain a cohesive narrative as it grows.
  5. Email Marketing: As Akash expands to the broader AI ecosystem, we will be building out an email marketing team for user experience and community updates.
  6. Partnership Marketing: Forming partnerships with top-tier organizations in the developer community to host webinars and engage their community to grow the ecosystem.

Limited Market Impact & Transparent Reporting

Overclock Labs will custody the requested funds in a new, distinct wallet so that funds from any other source are not commingled.

All funds will be liquidated and managed in a manner that ensures minimal impact on the market. These funds will be handled with the same care and attention as all previous Community Funding Proposals, with liquidations done in a fashion that will not adversely affect the market. In practice, the effort of this liquidation will add depth to the AKT market for buyers looking to enter.
