Prop 49: Proposal to Remove Community Manager

This proposal seeks the removal of the current community manager known as 'UncleRark' from all official roles within Elys Network, including moderation duties on Discord and Telegram.

The rationale behind this request stems from a pattern of behavior that has been widely reported by community members. The individual has repeatedly acted in a manner inconsistent with the principles of open dialogue and respectful discourse that Elys Network aims to uphold. Actions include selectively muting or banning users based on personal or political views, deleting posts without proper justification, and creating a toxic environment that discourages participation.

Moderators are representatives of the project and play a critical role in shaping the community’s perception. It is vital that those in these roles uphold neutrality, foster constructive dialogue, and avoid using their position to enforce personal beliefs.

This proposal, if passed, directs the Elys core contributors and validator set to revoke all administrative access and official affiliations from this individual.

The community deserves a safe and open space to discuss the future of Elys Network, and this measure ensures we stay true to those principles. Elys is for the people.
