Summary This proposal is to increase the gas fee on Passage Chain such that a standard transfer on Passage Chain costs around bash.01.
If passed, this proposal will not execute the change immediately; it will take effect during the next chain upgrade (v2.5.0).
### Background The current cost of transactions on Passage Chain is extremely low. It presents a risk to the chain from attacks and is unsustainable. This proposal is to raise the transaction fees to send from one wallet to another on Passage up to around bash.01.
Voting on this proposal raises the minimum gas price from 0.001 uPASG to 12.5. This will make it more expensive for attackers to send a storm of transactions. Although it is recognized that this is not a 100% fix for this possibility, it makes it much more unlikely, and will not impact users to any great degree.
