Prop 459: Adjust Binary Options Market Instant Listing Fee to 0.5 INJ

In light of increased trading activity and in preparation for the mainnet launch of our prediction market Paradyze on Injective this proposal seeks to adjust the Binary Options Market Listing Fee on Injective. Initially set in Summer 2022 when the price of INJ was around $1, the current fee structure needs to be recalibrated to align with inflation and to maintain competitiveness in the market. The proposed adjustment will reduce the listing fee from 10 INJ to 0.5 INJ. This reduction aims to lower the barrier for creating new markets, thereby encouraging more diverse market options for users and also removes the barriers for future community users to create markets, increasing overall participation. It is designed to make Injective more adaptive and resilient while continuing its growth trajectory and innovation in Web3 finance.

Background on Paradyze Paradyze is the first all-in-one, decentralized native prediction market on Injective where users can trade shares in various markets, similar to stocks or options. Unlike traditional betting or trading platforms, Paradyze empowers users to dynamically manage positions—buying or selling as prices shift—allowing them to actively participate in the price and probability discovery.
