Prop 841: Osmosis Representation at Crypto Summit del Caribe II

Authors

Wolfhodl – Founder of Criptomonedas.do

Summary

This proposal requests support for Criptomonedas.do to represent Osmosis at Crypto Summit del Caribe II on October 3rd, 2024. Criptomonedas.do will ensure that Osmosis has a strong presence at the event, driving community growth and awareness in the Dominican Republic and Latin America. The total proposed investment is $10,000, which includes event sponsorship and additional activities to promote Osmosis.

Motivation

The Crypto Summit del Caribe II (organized by https://cryptosummitdelcaribe.com) is a prominent event in the Latin American blockchain ecosystem. As Criptomonedas.do is serving as a media partner, we recognize a valuable opportunity for Osmosis to enhance its presence in the region by participating on behalf of the Osmosis Community. Several major blockchain projects are confirmed attendees, including Solana, Polkadot, Bitfinex, Metamask, IoTeX, and two local exchanges—CryptoPay Trade and Bitcoin RD. Osmosis' presence at this event would help it gain momentum within the Latin American audience and strengthen its position in these emerging markets.

We initiated a forum discussion on this proposal last week, which can be viewed below:

The forum post elaborates on the potential benefits of Osmosis involvement in this event, ensuring that Criptomonedas.do represent Osmosis Community. This on-chain proposal aims to secure the necessary funding for Osmosis’s sponsorship and summit participation. This will ensure Osmosis can gain mindshare in competing projects and continue building valuable partnerships in the Dominican Republic and beyond. The event will provide a platform for Osmosis to attract new users, developers, and potential collaborators from the growing Latam crypto community.

Sponsorship and Implementation

The proposed implementation plan includes:
