The Nolus governance module currently allows for the submission of expedited proposals. These proposals enable faster execution when a sufficient number of "YES" votes are gathered. The primary goal is to address urgent matters, such as critical fixes or optimizations that would benefit the blockchain by being implemented promptly, or for less significant matters like code pinning and unpinning. Typically, smart contract migration proposals are preceded by a code pinning proposal, which extends the overall migration timeline and delays a quicker go-to-market strategy.
To ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of expedited proposals, the following parameters are proposed:
Minimum Deposit: 10,000 NLS (higher than the standard 5,000 NLS required for a regular proposal to enter the voting phase).
Expedited Threshold: 66.7% (higher than the 50% YES votes threshold for a regular proposal).
Expedited Voting Period: 24 hours (shorter than the regular voting period of 3 days).
By voting "YES" on this proposal, you agree to adopt the above adjustments to the parameters for expedited proposals.
