Prop 538: Migrate OSMO Incentives from ION/OSMO Pool #2 to ION/OSMO Pool #1013

By voting YES on this proposal, OSMO stakers voice their support for the migration of OSMO incentives from the ION OSMO pool #2 to the ION/OSMO pool #1013 on Osmosis. By voting NO on this proposal, OSMO stakers voice their dissent in the migration of OSMO incentives from the ION OSMO pool #2 to the ION/OSMO pool #1013 on Osmosis.

Details

This proposal proposes to migrate OSMO incentives from the 80:20 weighted ION/OSMO pool #2 to the 50:50 weighted ION/OSMO pool #1013 in order to concentrate liquidity to pool #1013. ION DAO passed proposal #5 confirming this intention for the liquidity and containing more details about the decision.

Only OSMO incentives are available to liquidity providers in pool #2, and only ION incentives are available to liquidity providers in pool #1013.

Currently, around 0.58% of OSMO LP incentives are being spent on Pool 2, attracting around 309 thousand dollars of liquidity. Please refer to the latest version of the Spreadsheet of the Regular incentive adjustment. The proposed migration gives greater optimisation of liquidity and straightforward user flow with less confusion for liquidity providers on Osmosis by synergizing with ION incentives.

In addition, ION/OSMO pool #2 is the only non-50:50 pool among the incentivized pools on Osmosis. Completing this migration before the Osmosis Concentrate Liquidity migration would help minimize complications and optimize the process for the upcoming upgrade.

In order to give the 14 days for the current liquidity providers of pool #2 to migrate, the total OSMO incentives of pool #2 will be migrated to pool #1013 over the next two Regular Incentive proposals. Routine Proposal 1 will move 50% of the current incentives from Pool #2 to Pool #1013 and include Pool #1013 in the Osmosis Incentives program Routine Proposal 2 will move the remaining incentives from Pool #2 to Pool #1013, removing Pool #2 from the Osmosis Incentives program.

After the passing of the two proposals and migration of incentives, Pool #2 will be removed from the incentive program.
