Stride v31.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 27122172. It is estimated to take place 4 weeks ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v31.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v31.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit 4114e6c95dee571826b6edaef5f97c76059238d1
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v31/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v31/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v31.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v31/bin/strided version
