Xion Network v25.0.1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 16425000. It is estimated to take place 2 days from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd xion
git pull
git checkout v25.0.1
make install

Check Version

# should be 25.0.1
xiond version

# Should be commit 20550cfb72e03aaaf767934fa163a8acbaefdb10
xiond version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.xiond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v25/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/xiond $HOME/.xiond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v25/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 25.0.1
$HOME/.xiond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v25/bin/xiond version
