Stride v30.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 25688652. It is estimated to take place 4 days from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v30.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v30.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit 981753882943056b2abdb23cd5b47014deeb8cfc
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v30/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v30/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v30.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v30/bin/strided version
