BitBadges v19 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 7050000. It is estimated to take place 6 hours from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd bitbadges
git pull
git checkout v19
make install

Check Version

# should be v19
bitbadgeschaind version

# Should be commit 403b57d
bitbadgeschaind version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.bitbadgeschain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v19/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/bitbadgeschaind $HOME/.bitbadgeschain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v19/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v19
$HOME/.bitbadgeschain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v19/bin/bitbadgeschaind version
