Lumera v1.8.4 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 2270000. It is estimated to take place 1 week ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd lumera
git pull
git checkout v1.8.4
make install

Check Version

# should be 1.8.4
lumerad version

# Should be commit 62280ded5c8ed9e579322af502c2af4670094782
lumerad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.lumera/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.8.4/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/lumerad $HOME/.lumera/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.8.4/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 1.8.4
$HOME/.lumera/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.8.4/bin/lumerad version
