Osmosis v31.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 47626000. It is estimated to take place 3 days from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd osmosis
git pull
git checkout v31.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 31.0.0
osmosisd version

# Should be commit c1adfd5fd510f132137857c2d644db6b2c70981b
osmosisd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v31/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/osmosisd $HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v31/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 31.0.0
$HOME/.osmosisd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v31/bin/osmosisd version
