Mantra v6.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 9664888. It is estimated to take place 4 days ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd mantra
git pull
git checkout v6.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v6.0.0
mantrachaind version

# Should be commit a9ca3abf37281bdfe4a3b3744090756b64924364
mantrachaind version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.mantrachain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.0.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/mantrachaind $HOME/.mantrachain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.0.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v6.0.0
$HOME/.mantrachain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6.0.0/bin/mantrachaind version
