Akash v1.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 23939793. It is estimated to take place 2 days ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd akash
git pull
git checkout v1.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v1.0.0
akash version

# Should be commit b10cf66cb1c5b2fe61980719d4add48a0cadb73a
akash version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.akash/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.0.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/akash $HOME/.akash/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.0.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v1.0.0
$HOME/.akash/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.0.0/bin/akash version
