Lumera v1.7.2 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 1657000. It is estimated to take place 3 weeks ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd lumera
git pull
git checkout v1.7.2
make install

Check Version

# should be 1.7.2
lumerad version

# Should be commit 3f5b244bfb006f648038279c622da84f0e03bd4b
lumerad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.lumera/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.7.2/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/lumerad $HOME/.lumera/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.7.2/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 1.7.2
$HOME/.lumera/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.7.2/bin/lumerad version
