ZetaChain v36.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 10713000. It is estimated to take place 1 month ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd zetachain
git pull
git checkout v36.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 36.0.0
zetacored version

# Should be commit ce920256805180329fe0037d0e70b1a4ea0d4d28
zetacored version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v36/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/zetacored $HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v36/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 36.0.0
$HOME/.zetacored/cosmovisor/upgrades/v36/bin/zetacored version
