Gitopia v6.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 44200946. It is estimated to take place 1 day ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd gitopia
git pull
git checkout v6.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 6.0.0
gitopiad version

# Should be commit d3d8d4d78dc435420bdacf7e33b6550b845c067a
gitopiad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.gitopia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/gitopiad $HOME/.gitopia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 6.0.0
$HOME/.gitopia/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin/gitopiad version
