BitBadges v13 Upgrade

LFG!

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 5570000. It is estimated to take place 1 week ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd bitbadges
git pull
git checkout v13
make install

Check Version

# should be v13
bitbadgeschaind version

# Should be commit TBD
bitbadgeschaind version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.bitbadgeschain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v13/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/bitbadgeschaind $HOME/.bitbadgeschain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v13/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v13
$HOME/.bitbadgeschain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v13/bin/bitbadgeschaind version
