Nibiru v2.6.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 27836608. It is estimated to take place 2 weeks ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nibiru
git pull
git checkout v2.6.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v2.6.0
nibid version

# Should be commit 3cf97e3468f8ce922c8760f839f8f336ca0c37f4
nibid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.6.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nibid $HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.6.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v2.6.0
$HOME/.nibid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.6.0/bin/nibid version
