Sifchain v1.0-beta.12-issuefix Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 8796565. It is estimated to take place 2 years ago. A countdown clock is here.

Install New Binary

cd sifchain
git pull
git checkout v1.0-beta.12-issuefix
make install

Check Version

# should be 
sifnoded version

# Should be commit 
sifnoded version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

Since the folder name contains capitalized letters, please check your cosmovisor version to ensure that it complies with the version stardard.

mkdir -p $HOME/.sifnoded/cosmovisor/upgrades//bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/sifnoded $HOME/.sifnoded/cosmovisor/upgrades//bin

Check Version Again

# should be 
$HOME/.sifnoded/cosmovisor/upgrades//bin/sifnoded version
