Oraichain v0.50.12 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 69217035. It is estimated to take place 3 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd orai
git pull
git checkout v0.50.12
make install

Check Version

# should be 0.50.12
oraid version

# Should be commit 227473993ac6de3646231c9efb46777ac9d57805
oraid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.oraid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.50.12/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/oraid $HOME/.oraid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.50.12/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 0.50.12
$HOME/.oraid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.50.12/bin/oraid version
