Nym v0.60.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 19255000. It is estimated to take place 3 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nym
git pull
git checkout v0.60.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 0.60.0
nyxd version

# Should be commit b6f3742d10788631bd8e9a0e46eb3d327e974d9e
nyxd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nyxd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.60/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nyxd $HOME/.nyxd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.60/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 0.60.0
$HOME/.nyxd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.60/bin/nyxd version
