Passage v2.6.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 14273627. It is estimated to take place 4 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd passage
git pull
git checkout v2.6.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 2.6.0
passage version

# Should be commit cfddb2769874453d6d6557559fd5ef4e814af2fa
passage version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.passage/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.6.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/passage $HOME/.passage/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.6.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 2.6.0
$HOME/.passage/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.6.0/bin/passage version
