Xion Network v19.0.1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 9150000. It is estimated to take place 5 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd xion
git pull
git checkout v19.0.1
make install

Check Version

# should be v19.0.1
xiond version

# Should be commit 17c842cc0daf8dd1a3667989b2128094e9a315f9
xiond version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.xiond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v19/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/xiond $HOME/.xiond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v19/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v19.0.1
$HOME/.xiond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v19/bin/xiond version
