Omniflix v6.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 18004800. It is estimated to take place 4 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd omniflix
git pull
git checkout v6.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v6.0.0
omniflixhubd version

# Should be commit a2214507a5bd5773b149e5eba5fee080a76c17fb
omniflixhubd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/omniflixhubd $HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v6.0.0
$HOME/.omniflixhub/cosmovisor/upgrades/v6/bin/omniflixhubd version
