Babylon v1.1.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 301450. It is estimated to take place 6 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd babylon
git pull
git checkout v1.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v1.1.0
babylond version

# Should be commit f0a29d60f206268b56992fa50f38a48077eb4f59
babylond version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.babylond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.1/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/babylond $HOME/.babylond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.1/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v1.1.0
$HOME/.babylond/cosmovisor/upgrades/v1.1/bin/babylond version
