Oraichain v0.50.10 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 57862182. It is estimated to take place 6 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd orai
git pull
git checkout v0.50.10
make install

Check Version

# should be 0.50.10
oraid version

# Should be commit 4e1eea4b0ce0f0c94ace7beb0d3e816c9cb22807
oraid version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.oraid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.50.10/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/oraid $HOME/.oraid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.50.10/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 0.50.10
$HOME/.oraid/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.50.10/bin/oraid version
