Mantra v4.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 4428500. It is estimated to take place 1 month ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd mantra
git pull
git checkout v4.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v4.0.0
mantrachaind version

# Should be commit 582d5f67
mantrachaind version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.mantrachain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/mantrachaind $HOME/.mantrachain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v4.0.0
$HOME/.mantrachain/cosmovisor/upgrades/v4/bin/mantrachaind version
