Kyve v2.0.0 Upgrade

LFG!

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 11026800. It is estimated to take place 3 days from now. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd kyve
git pull
git checkout v2.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v2.0.0
kyved version

# Should be commit f862d5432b29c67f3607707fe7122fb33e974a2f
kyved version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.kyve/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.0.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/kyved $HOME/.kyve/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.0.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v2.0.0
$HOME/.kyve/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.0.0/bin/kyved version
