Umee v3.0.1 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 3216273. It is estimated to take place 2 years ago. A countdown clock is here.

Install New Binary

cd umee
git pull
git checkout v3.0.1
make install

Check Version

# should be 
umeed version

# Should be commit 
umeed version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

Since the folder name contains capitalized letters, please check your cosmovisor version to ensure that it complies with the version stardard.

mkdir -p $HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades//bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/umeed $HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades//bin

Check Version Again

# should be 
$HOME/.umee/cosmovisor/upgrades//bin/umeed version
