Stride v26.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 16333361. It is estimated to take place 7 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v26.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v26.0.0
strided version

# Should be commit 5824787f1926a4af8fa67d2aaa928c5275fe4bc2
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v26/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v26/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v26.0.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v26/bin/strided version
