Archway v10.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 8919000. It is estimated to take place 8 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd archway
git pull
git checkout v10.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 10.0.0
archwayd version

# Should be commit 1de4e5c39a07893c8ce2949978e9c0714e5d6097
archwayd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.archway/cosmovisor/upgrades/v10.0.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/archwayd $HOME/.archway/cosmovisor/upgrades/v10.0.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 10.0.0
$HOME/.archway/cosmovisor/upgrades/v10.0.0/bin/archwayd version
