Nym v0.54.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 16868000. It is estimated to take place 9 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd nym
git pull
git checkout v0.54.0
make install

Check Version

# should be 0.54.0
nyxd version

# Should be commit 04cb6e5408cc54c27247b0b327dfa99769d5103c
nyxd version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.nyxd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.54/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/nyxd $HOME/.nyxd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.54/bin

Check Version Again

# should be 0.54.0
$HOME/.nyxd/cosmovisor/upgrades/v0.54/bin/nyxd version
