Migaloo v5.0.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 11091210. It is estimated to take place 8 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd migaloo
git pull
git checkout v5.0.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v5.0.0
migalood version

# Should be commit 329aae7ef7d40f4c8c2cdfc58f8d3311088c3231
migalood version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.migalood/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.0.0/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/migalood $HOME/.migalood/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.0.0/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v5.0.0
$HOME/.migalood/cosmovisor/upgrades/v5.0.0/bin/migalood version
