Stride v25.1.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 15533551. It is estimated to take place 8 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd stride
git pull
git checkout v25.1.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v25.1.0
strided version

# Should be commit 4354ac360fb1dfbe62478e33c40b4313d8937a71
strided version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v25/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/strided $HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v25/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v25.1.0
$HOME/.stride/cosmovisor/upgrades/v25/bin/strided version
