Terra v2.14.0 Upgrade

This guide assumes that you use cosmovisor to manage upgrades. If you do not use cosmovisor, please adjust some commands accordingly.

The upgrade is scheduled for Block 14154000. It is estimated to take place 8 months ago. A countdown clock is here. The governance proposal is here.

Install New Binary

cd terra
git pull
git checkout v2.14.0
make install

Check Version

# should be v2.14.0
terrad version

# Should be commit 1ffa71679b3a4d21aa1b0c22728657ffcdf362d5
terrad version --long | grep commit

Make Cosmovisor Directory and Copy Binary

mkdir -p $HOME/.terra/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.14/bin
cp $HOME/go/bin/terrad $HOME/.terra/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.14/bin

Check Version Again

# should be v2.14.0
$HOME/.terra/cosmovisor/upgrades/v2.14/bin/terrad version
